People are reminding me left and right of requests. My mom wonders why I dont charge them or anything. yyyyeessss I would but darnit i don't have the heart to charge my friends :/

anywho, went out today with one of my good friends, and I saw this awesome mural!!! I know what im going to paint for him for his birthday!! now to sketch out some stuff!! tally ho!!! hooray!! gonna be a *tasteful* naked woman holding up a platter of fruit with flowers in her hair as well as an indigenous looking shawl.

the problem with the original is that her face was a bit strange, one of those poses that looked like she was tryin to smell her armpit. still lovely, don't get me wrong. She was also white skinned, which is very odd for an indigenous woman, surrounded by other indigenous people, children, and a setting. A whole other can of worms considering women in latin american art, I dont want to get into that right now, but whatever, the inspiration did its job.
